Lisa's Sage Corner

Remember the game of Hide 'N' Seek? Well, this is how the Future operates. The Future covers its eyes and counts. Then, 'Ready or not, here I come.' And it finds you. We Human Beings often think it is the other way around...that we seek the Future. And at times when we don't want to meet the Future we can hide from it. This, however, only works for a little while. Then, 'Ready or not, here I (the Future) come.' Take this concept one step outside of yourself, like our planet and the global warming scenario, for example. We cannot hide from this future. But we can make enough changes in our habits to slow or prevent the current predicted outcome. So ask yourself, "What have I done to become more sustainable today?"

Nature flows with harmony. Human Beings blend with nature. Human Beings can also cause disturbances in Nature's flow. Human Nature is both conflictual and harmonious. If you operate harmoniously in nature, Nature responds in kind (and visa versa). Human Beings may be critical because they believe they are right. Then 'wrongs' are done in the name of or within this 'right'. The hardest and most beneficial thing to do in one's lifetime is to become a master over one's self.

Fuel Systems

One of the key components in your vehicle's fuel system is the fuel injector. In the beginning, carburetors were used to 'atomize' (break into fine particles that are easier to burn) and deliver fuel to your car's engine.

In today's world fuel injectors are controlled by a computer, which operates on information provided by various sensors. A clean fuel injector injects and atomizes fuel into the engine. A dirty fuel injector will inject poorly atomized fuel, not enough fuel, or too much fuel, depending on its condition. Improperly atomized fuel does not burn effectively or completely. When that happens, you lose performance and fuel mileage. Inefficiently burned fuel also causes the oxygen sensor in the exhaust system to give the wrong information to the computer! On top of all that, the catalytic convertor will be over worked by trying to get rid of un-burned fuel. Thus the whole fuel system suffers, along with your pocketbook at the gas pump!

At Water Star Motors we recommend having your fuel system serviced annually or with your regular major service. This will prolong the life of your car and save you money in the long run. (The average injector is $125.00 and there are at least four per vehicle). So for the best performance, optimum fuel mileage and greatest life span of your vehicle, come in today and get your fuel system checked.
