Water Star Motors is my go to garage in Santa Cruz! We are new to the area and recently had some trouble with our VW TDI. We didn't know where to get it towed and randomly picked Water Star. So glad we did. They stayed passed closing time to meet us and our car and the work they did was top notch and reasonably priced. They are very friendly as well! I can't really ask for anything more from a shop!

Water Star Motors is a phenomenal auto repair shop. I drive my car up from Los Angeles to have all major repairs done by Henry and his team, because they do great work and have good prices. The magic they do to my '87 Mercedes keeps it humming and happy. I will continue to sing their praises.

Henry and Dan have been working on my cars for years. They are honest, reliable, quick and convenient. They have always given excellent customer service and taken very good care of my cars. Before I became their customer, I had another local mechanic, I found them on his recommendation! I also really appreciate that they are a green business that gives back to the santa cruz community!

The owners are active in their community, their staff is always friendly, and they tell the honest story about your car's health-- and then let you decide what you're ready to pay for. I have even had them admit when they misdiagnosed an issue (that's honesty), and then work to make it right for free (that's integrity!). I love these guys.

My first time here. I have to say what a wonderful and helpful team starting with the reception (I liked the reception the best). Very helpful and knowledgeable. Had to get smog test done. Called first and was told to "come on down". Sure enough, once I got there, got me in and out in 15 minutes. They certainly earned my trust and respect. The fact that they are an environmentally conscious shop is an added bonus. Keep up the great work! You got yourself a new customer!

Honest Staff, No Pressure! These guys know what they're doing and they don't try to make you buy anything that you don't need. They were friendly, fast, and very capable. I'll definitely be going there again when I need car work done.
