Impeccable & clean this shop is THE place for my cars care. thanks to Henry and Lisa ( the owners) there is a high level of integrity and high standard of sevice I can always count on , Serene and green !

WaterStar keeps our '82 Mercedes in tip top shape. There have been many instances when Henry has included minor repairs/upkeep above and beyond what we took our car in for. Everyone is always so friendly and the turn around time between when we drop off and pick up is always quick. We definitely recommend WaterStar to our friends.

I brought my car in here for a badly needed tune-up. The place was a little hard to find. When we got there I the workers were really friendly. They had my car back the next day which I then used to drive to Los Angeles and it drove better than it has in a while! I did think it was a little too pricey but it was a great job and friendly service.

I've been bringing my car, and my client's cars, to Water Star for over 15 years. I trust them implicitly with the diagnosis, the parts they use and the work they perform to repair all the vehicles. They've worked on Jeeps, Mercedes, Toyotas, Hondas and BMW's for me. All work was done to my very picky satisfaction :) I've referred many friends here -- I trust they'll be treated well by Henry, Lisa, Dan and the rest of the staff. AAA rating, too!

I'm new to Santa Cruz and am always nervous about finding a new mechanic. But I've taken my car to Water Star for two oil changes and feel really comfortable with them. Thy had a nice long chat with me about synthetic oil. I'm looking at doing some major repairs with them and they've been great about taking time to answer my questions and showing me what they find in the car. Everyone is very friendly too!

We have been taking our cars to Water Star for more than 20 years, since I owned my first car. We have always received friendly and compassionate customer service--something I value highly in a mechanic! I always feel well taken care of and Henry has many times thrown in minor repairs in addition to the services we paid for, when he sees a small problem with a quick fix. It is great to have a mechanic you can trust totally with a friendly office atmosphere! They are awesome!

This place is the best car repair in Santa Cruz. I found them by cross-checking AAA approved places with positive reviews on Yelp and this place had the best reviews on both. They were very professional and took good care of my Miata. They were also nice enough to arrange payment with my dad over the phone and even sent me a thank you letter with a magnet and business cards afterwards. They also cover a wide range of car issues. They were prompt, courteous, professional and family-owned so you know you're helping support local businesses. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else in Santa Cruz
