I’m so glad I found this place. The staff are all very friendly and supportive. I enjoyed my time there while waiting for them to do a smog test on my car. It went quickly and efficiently, so much so that I took my other vehicle in a few days later.

Water Star has a great crew and are wonderful to work with. They made great suggestions to keep my car running properly and safe for me. They gave me a lift home and were nice enough to deliver my car at the end of the day. I have been so pleased with them after moving and leaving the dealership.

Brought in my 07 gti which had some pretty serious issues with oil leaking into the engine and coming out the exhaust. Originally had taken it to ae motorsports who quoted me 5k just to replace the turbo. Water Star did a much more thorough inspection and found the root causes of the issue (not a failed turbo) and ended up saving me $$$. Car is now running better than when i bought it! Highly highly recommend this place - these guys know what they’re doing and beyond that they’re extremely friendly and love to talk cars. Water Star is now my go to Santa Cruz mechanic.

Shop was recommended by our tow truck driver so we felt confident. Our Volvo broke down with engine trouble after school so it was very unexpected. My child and I were treated with such kindness and we had the car back in a couple of days. Excellent service and the car is performing better than ever. We plan on coming back to have some needed brake work done here as well. Also if you had to wait World Market is within walking distance!

My need for service started with a check engine light related to rodent damage of wiring. They repaired the wiring and diagnosed and repaired problems with the suspension. Parts were acquired and repairs were made promptly. The car's handling is markedly improved.

Good service the workers are very accommodating and nice too.
